a Consulting Engineer Group is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager with Materials Handling experience. This is a 2 year contract and the salary offered is R1,5m per annum.

Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree
10 years materials handling experiene as well as management experience in a similar field
Must be contractually astute with FIDIC and NEC
Must have experience in successfully completing a number of large Bulk Materials Handling projects on the basis of a lump sum turnkey (LSTK) type contract

Develop project execution strategies
Lead the project team responsible for the Design, Engineering, Procurement, Expediting, Materials Control, Construction and Commissioning
Monitor and manage the performance of the project team members
Monitor and manage the performance all suppliers and sub-contractors
Manage the project execution program, budget, quality and safety
Manage change control
