Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Location: V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
Salary: R15k per month negotiable

Our client is one of South Africa's leading liquor brands companies. We require a social media specialist and community manager to join our team to manage a portfolio of liquor brands.

You will gain experience with some of SA’s most loved and well known wine labels, and will be at the helm of confidently giving direction to the team by formulating strategy; growing, managing and maintaining social media assets.

Requirements
Minimum relevant tertiary degree or diploma in social media or marketing or media studies or Journalism; English; Communications etc.
Two to three years social media management experience including community management, media management, and monthly reporting.
Passion for online trends especially social media trends, innovation and advertising
Great conceptual skills
Good customer liaison skills and effective command of the English and Afrikaans language - communicate verbally and in writing.
Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of all things digital with a more acute working knowledge of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Ability to generate solid content strategies in English or Afrikaans
Setting realistic ROI goals and then reporting on KPIs, providing community insights and trend analysis.
Strategise and manage online promotions, events, campaigns and competitions - leading all social media initiatives from start to finish.
Present to and liaise with clients and suppliers.
Familiar with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
Advantageous
Design skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Media planning and/or buying experience.
Project Management qualification.
