Social Media Manager

Location: Century City, Cape Town
Salary: R15k – R25k per month negotiable

About the Role:
Preparing content for online platforms for the corporate audience. The ideal candidate needs to have knowledge of website content publishing and have a broad understanding of social media platforms.

Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification advantageous
2+ years online and social media experience
Excellent command of the English language – verbal and written
Experienced in online and social media platforms and publishing in a professional environment - Websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google Plus

Duties:
Write various content types such as website copy, articles, headlines, image captions, video abstracts etc.
Maintain and create original content for website and online platforms
Upload, publish and promote content on the online and social platforms
Researching, interviewing and sourcing information and news stories
Coordinating and sourcing content for the social and website platforms
Reporting and analysis of stats and trends
Keep up to date with the latest social media trends and practices
Enhancing online and social media strategies and implementation
Management of social communities
