An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Media Specialist within one of our clients based in Roodepoort.

PURPOSE:
Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment/ partnership with business across multiple platforms online.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Graphic Design or Digital Marketing or Visual Communications or Advertising

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience leveraging social media in a corporate, marketing or brand building capacity
- Brand and/or agency experience will, be advantageous

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
- Attention to detail
- Impeccable grammar and spelling, with a creative flair to your writing style tailored to suit each platform.
- An innate sense of urgency when dealing with social media issues.
- Incredible time management skills ensuring you over-deliver on every brief or request.
- The confidence and competence to call together and manage brainstorms, project teams and campaigns with minimal supervision and quick effective results.
- Personal Passion for all Social Media Platforms.
- A good following on your own platforms and a knowledge of and connection to South African Social Media influencers.
- A genuine passion for Digital and Social Media, what it means for communication and what it means for the future of advertising.
