An opportunity is available to a Software Engineer on a senior level who would like to develop software for Billing and EFT payment system. This opportunity also allows for the chance to become a Team Leader of a small team of diverse developer in various projects using various programming languages.

Qualification:
Matric
A relevant IT Degree - BEng or BSc

Skills & Experience:
3 years prior experience as an EFT/Switching Developer
3-5 years of development experience
Knowledge of ISO 8583 interchange message specification is required
Web development in Django and database experience with MySQL
Development experience, coding in C++, Django or Python
Prior leadership experience

Job Description:
This role requires an individual who is comfortable in leading a team, even if you have not been in a Team Lead position before – leadership qualities should be evident. You will need to provide mentoring and coaching for the Technology Team.

Some of your core responsibilities as the Senior Software Engineer would be to:
Writing, modifying and improving current and new IT systems
Observing, testing, diagnosing and resolving faults in the software
Writing and testing code and then refining and rewriting as necessary
Manage and improve system hardware, software, communications and network infrastructure
