Sourcing Specialist (IT / Financial Services)

We are seeking a Sourcing Guru to support the Commodity Manager to meet Procurement strategic objectives and key performance indicators; deliver savings targets; and ensure overall sustainability of commodity-based initiatives.

You will meet the following minimum requirements/criteria:
• A relevant Bachelor's degree (technical, financial or commercial) is required
• CIPS Level 4
• 3+ years strategic sourcing experience in a large organisation with proven commodity management credentials.
• Knowledge of data management and systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle, JDE and SAP R/3 is key

Major Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Overseeing the delivery of procurement solutions that enable the achievement of business goals and objectives.
• Monitoring and evaluating commodity markets, external supply, internal demand, business trends and incorporating into commodity strategies.
• Developing commodity-focussed supplier industry key economic indicators and cost models.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
• Establishing supplier contracts and supplier performance programs.

Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Gauteng (Pretoria).
