Sous Chef – Corporate Catering
R12 000-15 000 per month
Permanent senior position in the hospitality industry
Wynberg, Johannesburg
Our client requires a qualified Sous Chef to undertake working in all areas of this busy kitchen which operates particularly in, but not limited to, the Corporate/Functions Catering Sector.
Young and creative we are looking for someone with fresh ideas who is willing to take up the challenge and act as Second in command to the Head Chef.
Applicants must have full knowledge of kitchen management including but not limited to:
Staff Management
Ordering/Receiving
Stock Rotation/Control
Portion Control
Menu Planning
Experience / Education:
* Formally Trained/Qualified Chef
* Minimum of five years’ experience post qualification
* Minimum three years in corporate catering/functions/events
* Able to manage a catering team at functions
* Be able to manage functions/client relations as team leader
* MUST have driver’s licence (Not negotiable!)
