Large four-star resort in the Waterberg seeks to employ a Sous Chef. The successful candidate should be particularly strong in the area of A-La Carte dining. The position is live-in.

Minimum requirements:
Matric NOT NEGOTIABLE
Formal culinary qualification or relevant experience and references
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel/lodge environment where food preparation leaned toward a-la carte
Computer literate (MS Office, POS and PMS)

Responsibilities include following:
• Menu planning
• Cost control & calculations
• Stock control and ordering
• Ordering and supplier negotiations
• Staff management
• Staff training
• Hygiene control
• Customer service and guest interaction

Salary is R14 500 CTC per month plus accommodation.
