A very well established 5* Game Lodge in the Mpumalanga area is looking for a Spa HOD, This applicant would have a permanent employment contract working a leave cycle of 6 weeks on with 2 weeks off.Responsibilities include:Management of the spa team as well as being very much part of the team in delivering the spa menu to guests when covering another team members leave cycle. The spa has direct competition with regard to guests time in the game viewing available which is part of the overall guest rate. Spa treatments are charged as extra and the promotion and flexibility of the spa offering, treatments and retail, is vital to maintain profitability. This needs to be done in the manner of providing a quality guest service and not as a hard sell. The spa team also attend bush functions and guest meals to promote the spa, support service and get fully involved in the guest experience. It is key that any appointment maintains the sense of fun and outgoing attitude of the company which is reflected in the running of the Game Reserve. A hands-on approach to management is also expected and critical with proven experience of meeting set budgets and exceeding!If you have the skills and enjoy rolling up your sleeves – this is the job for you!
