Spa Receptionist

We are on the lookout for bright, friendly ladies with some reception experience to grace the spa’s welcome desk. The environment is fast paced with underlying calmness and serenity. The position is great for anybody who wishes to learn more and grow in this exciting, dynamic field.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Beauty Therapy Certificate / Somatology Diploma is advantageous
Experience:
• Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Spa/ Wellness Centre
• Experience working as a Receptionist in a Spa / Wellness Centre is a advantage
• TheraVine knowledge is advantageous
• Motivated, self-starter and able to take initiative
• MS Office, Excel and Opera knowledge is essential
Skills:
• Excellent client service, communication and organization skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to perform basic computer skills
• Self-motivated and ready to go above and beyond.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
• Team player.
• Goal-oriented.
Duties:
• Product orders
• Welcoming of clients to the Spa
• Making and confirming of bookings
• Checking of daily control sheets and treatments booked
• Stocktaking on the last day of the month
• Submit therapist individual summary reports
• Compete reports for split between products and treatments
• Monthly and weekly rosters and follow- up on time attendance and leave forms
• Ensure database is updated and maintained
• Manage cleanliness of therapist and salon
