Location: Pretoria
Salary: R 300 000 – R 350 000 p.a
Our client is looking for a Specialist: IT Projects to identify high risk projects and Implement mitigation plans just to mention a few duties.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for calculating value over time (contribute to company objectives)
o Understand company strategic objectives to identify where IT can make a difference
o Liaise with business to understand requirements for any new systems or updates to existing systems
o Engage with developers to ensure the business requirement is clearly understood
o Clear management reporting on all projects
• Responsible for quality planning of projects
o Ensure business requirements for each project are clearly documented and signed off
o Provide clear project plans with realistic timelines and appropriate resources
• Responsible for risk management related to IT projects
o Identify high risk projects
o Implement mitigation plans
• Responsible for effective leadership on IT projects
o Clarify roles and accountability within the team
o Include parties from business as appropriate
o Deliver on time and within budget
• Responsible for effective communication relating to IT projects
o Regular status updates to all stakeholders (as agreed in the project plan)
o Appropriate and timeous feedback to business, developers and management
• Responsible for appropriate scope management on IT projects
o Ensure scope changes to projects are clearly understood, documented and measured

Requirements:
• IT Diploma or relevant project management qualification
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in IT and/or Project Management
