A large transaction capital company based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, is currently in need of a SQL Data Analyst to start as soon as possible. Preference will be given to EE Candidates.

Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 per month
 
The analyst is one of the key individuals in the Descriptive Analytics team and will be responsible for maintaining Marketing Services system to ensure that monthly campaigns are delivered in line with client requirements and deadlines.
 
Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred minimum of BSc/BComm in Computer Science / IT /Statistics/ Informatics
• At least 1 years+ as an analyst / IT with specific focus on SQL Server
• Preferred experience in following fields: Consumer credit; Customer engagement strategies; Marketing
• Advanced SQL coding skills
• Tableau or other reporting experience
• Analytical software: good knowledge of SAS or other leading statistical software
• Passion for automation
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise with a sense of urgency and work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and desire to grow and learn
• Ability to innovate
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SQL
• SAS/R programming will be advantage

 
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing of campaigns
• Create and process performance reports
• Investigative analytics
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Implement new requirements using SQL
• Improve existing processes using SQL and other techniques as required
• Support automation and integration
• Work closely with developers to productise our offering
• Develop and improve QA and selection reports
• Work closely with business owners and analyst to produce client deliverables
• Provide SQL support to other team members
