Pietermaritzburg based supply chain and logistics consulting firm urgently seeks an SQL Programmer to take data from different sources, pull it together and produce meaningful reports (web-based, email or sms) for clients.

5 - 10 years' experience is essential to ensure right level of skill.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 for server side development. T-SQL (Transact SQL) stored procedures and triggers.

Must possess database administrative experience.

Possess strong Excel skills.

Demonstrable knowledge of C+.

.NET development an added advantage.

Maintain and enhance existing data warehouse inclusive of database design, tables, stored procedures, views and functions.

Develop and maintain internal and external data exports that meet provided specifications. Perform quality checks on reports, exports and views to ensure exceptional quality.

Monitor job and transfer queues to ensure that they are functioning as expected.

Provide and maintain internal clients with data required for views with metrics for report creation. Manage current and develop new SSIS package to meet business needs.

Create and maintain documentation for all projects.

This person live in the Upper Highway, PMB or Hilton areas.
