STARLIMS SENIOR CONSULTANT – CONSTANTIA KLOOF

Salary: R45 000 pm plus benefits


Job Purpose:
To execute implementations, according to procedures and to give technical support to customers, from the office or by visiting the customer.


Requirements:
• BSc Engineering, or related qualification,
• 2 years of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) implementation, and experience in a laboratory function
• Programming experience in .net, c# or C++
• Experience in SQL and Programming,
• Laboratory experience and/or background


Skills:
• Technical expertise,
• Good communication skills – English (Verbal and written communication),
• Willingness to travel,
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure,
• Deadline driven, multi-task individual,


Routine Duties:
• Project planning: to define project plans and GAP- analysis
• Project executions: making sure that the project is executed according to the requirements of the customer and within the agreed time frame. Execute intermediate project evaluations.
• Implementation: execute the implementation of STARLIMS.
• Delivery: accomplish a correct and timely delivery of STARLIMS.
• Project evaluation: execute project evaluations
• Maintenance: support the continuous operations of STARLIMS.
• Complaints and problem solving: correct handling of technical problems and correct communication/registration of complaints.
• Any additional tasks related to a senior consultant position: manage consultants in projects and support, direct and monitor projects outsourced to a 3rd party ICT consultant.
