Receiving of stock
• Responsible for checking and receiving of all incoming stock from various suppliers.
• Ensure that correct product, quantity and quality is being delivered.
• Supervise deliveries and signing off all necessary paperwork for deliveries.
• GRN of stock onto system to ensure that stock levels are accurate when stock received, and that stock is available when it arrives.
Despatch of stock
• Responsible for checking all outgoing stock for deliveries and collections.
• Ensure that correct product, quantity and quality is dispatched.
• Ensure that stock going out is accompanied by the correct COA’s.
Stock control
• Responsible for daily variance reports to ensure that stock levels are accurate at all times.
• Random spot checks to check for discrepancies.
• Assist in production planning for the stock to be prepared or blended.
• Monitoring stock levels to ensure that there are minimum stock shortages.
• Control of contaminated and/or quarantine stock.
• Monitor usage of empty containers.
• Prepare and do weekly/monthly stock take.
Housekeeping & other responsibilities
• Ensure that stock is packed in designated areas and clearly marked or labelled.
• Assist in order assembly for deliveries.
• Implement and draw up company procedures to ensure that accurate work commence in the warehouse.
Education
• Matric Certificate.
• 1 Year Warehousing Experience.
Skills
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
• Knowledge of SYSPRO would be an advantage
• Forklift Drivers Licence would be an advantage
