The Store Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: Maintain the store standards and adhere to company policies and proceduresManage the customer experience by locating and selecting merchandiseResolving customer complaints in your storeTraining staff and completing Sales Assistant training plansResolving maintenance and IT issuesDrafting rosters for the storeContinuously motivating staff and striving to exceed store targetsBe proactive in your sales approach by up-selling to influence salesCreate style options for the customer and sell a green approach and organic lifestyleEnsure that excellent customer service is demonstrated in the team at all timesProvide customer with garment product knowledge relating to style, material, care instructions, price and guaranteesMaintain store merchandising and assist in changing store displaysReceive purchase payments and accurately handle cash, credit/debit card transactionsOperate the point of sale terminal, cash register and card transaction machinesReconcile the amount of cash in register at the end of shift and bank all payments receivedProcess sales and pack purchases appropriatelyReceive deliveries, unpack and re-shelve store stock and check merchandise for any possibledamagesAssist with regular stock checks as well as neatly restocking shelves, tables and rails with garmentsBe vigilant at all times to minimize stock lossRepresent the company in your personal presentation and dress Requirements: Must have at least 4 years’ experience as a Store Manager preferably in the Fashion Retail IndustryA thorough & practical grasp of the day to day management of a storeStrong problem solving skills and proven ability to use your own initiativeKnowledge and ability to effectively apply company strategy/ policy/ procedure at store levelMust have Grade 12A tertiary qualification in business/ retail or marketing would be an advantageOutstanding leadership skillsAbility of manage a functional team Salary negotiable depending on level of experience To apply for the Store Manager Jobs - Johannesburg – Fashion Brand positions – please send your detailed CV in a Word document and a recent photo of yourself.
