Your key job responsibilities as the Store Sales Manager in Cape Town:

- Creating an environment in which sales can flourish

- Meeting and exceeding set sales targets every month

- Overseeing the daily operations of a store, including staffing, security (personal and merchandise) and on the floor coaching

- Selling managers will share the sales target

- Conduct formal performance evaluation, including Monthly/Quarterly and Annual Reviews

- Fulfilling HR functions at store level; staff scheduling, counselling and disciplinary procedures

- Be responsible for Staff Career Development; conducting formalised training on both Product Knowledge as well as Personal Development

- Overseeing or completing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reporting

- Wow customers; ensuring total customer satisfaction with every sales presentation

- Handling customer queries and complaints

Requirements for this Store Sales Manager job in Cape Town:

- A Bachelors’ Degree or similar tertiary qualification, alternately 4 years sales experience with a proven and successful sales record

- Extensive retail experience and are able to work retail hours

- Preference will be given to mature sales career oriented individuals

- Classic, elegant & sophisticated in both appearance and demeanor

- Maturity and high levels of EQ

- Well-travelled individuals

- Excellent selling, communication & negotiation skills

- Fluent in English both in the spoken and written language

- Computer literacy is essential; Microsoft suite as well as Outlook

- Self-motivated, ambitious with a real sense of urgency
