Position: Strategic Sales Executive
Package: up to R720K CTC + lucrative commission
Area: Cape Town

The purpose of the job is to implement sales strategies, plans and tactics to increase market share on a regional level.

(This position is not meant for an incumbent doing Key Account management. We are looking for someone who is good in SALES on strategic level. Preferably someone from the Cape Town area.)

Key Accountabilities:
• The incumbent must ensure a consistent standard of excellence and professionalism in the execution of duties, attaining and maintaining a consistent and high standard of liaison with corporate clients.
• Proven Sales record in a business-to-business sales environment.
• Professional and clear communication skills coupled with the ability to network and sell at a high level and build strong business relationships.
• Proven objection handling, prospecting and negotiation skills

Skills & Experience:
• Business or Marketing Degree (preferable)
• Minimum of 5-10 years Sales experience at a senior level and on a regional basis in intense external sales environment
• Minimum 5-10 years experience business development experience in a executive capacity
• Must preferably be from the logistics/courier/freight industry
• Must have proven track record of selling solutions/services; not only products
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and potential threats
• Analytical skills
• Excellent Negotiation Skills
• Above average Business Communication Skills
• Proven ability in Hardcore External Sales environment
• Able to deal within tough business environment
• Own vehicle and drivers license
• Must have a matric
• Skilled in account strategy, account planning, relationship strategy
