We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our clients for a Bridge Design Engineer.

Reporting directly to the Transportation Structures Lead 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• BSc /BEng (4 yr degree) in civil engineering.
• Post-graduate experience of 3-5 years in a structural design office.
• A working knowledge of Prokon and/or Midas Civil Design.
• Familiar with Structural Design Standards.
• Working knowledge of both Structural Steel and Reinforced Concrete Design.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management skills, be pro-active, practical and dedicated.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liaise and work with the Bridge Design Lead as required.
• Work with other Engineers, Technologists and Technicians in planning and design of designated bridge projects.
• Lead the drawing office team in the production and quality control of Bridge and/or Culvert Reports, Drawings, Quantities and Specifications.
• Oversee general Drawing office management on assignments as delegated.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System’s requirements as set out in the applicable work instructions and checklists.
