Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is looking to employ a Supply Chain Manager with a minimum of 10 years' logistics experience in a large manufacturing environment

Minimum requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 10 years' logistics experience in large manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
• Excellent SAP working knowledge and experience (SAP expert level)

Duties:

• Provides input for plant strategy, develops the SC plant strategy according to higher level strategies
• Implements the SC plant organisation structure according to global standards
• Implements and maintains global and regional standards and processes
• Derives SC plan targets from the higher level (global/regional) target and defines additional supply chain targets ensuring their achievement and initiates countermeasures
• Introduces sustainable SC processes into K3 (if required also C+SC planning into K2)
• Implements and ensures the customer requirements are met
• Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the capacity planning tool in the plant
• Ensures high quality master data, with continuous monitoring to ensure compliance
• Optimises SC processes and working capital according to BOSLE principles and increases delivery services
• Acts as contactr person for customer, suppliers and service providers, transport forwarder on plant level

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
