What does a Support Engineer do at Solid Systems?

The Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining long term relationships with SLA customers. A successful candidate will be required to provide onsite and remote desktop support. The employee is responsible for the deliverable's of the support plan which includes but not limited to guaranteed response times, preventative maintenance, asset monitoring and infrastructure improvements.
Support Engineers identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion

  • Experience with Windows Server Standard and SBS , Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange ,Firewall technologies (Cyberoam), Anti Virus, DNS, DHCP, RAID Configurations, UPS and Backup technologies
  • You have excellent problem solving ability, you are a quick learner and enjoy a challenge
  • 'Hands on' experience in this type of role is important –
  • You have a friendly aptitude, enjoy multitasking... and most importantly like working with people and problem solving!
  • You are familiar with a support ticketing systems and don’t mind the admin side of IT Support.
