This 14 bedded Surgical ICU ward based in a top Private hospital requires a strong ICU registered nurse to start asap. This is specialist ICU with an active Stroke program with door to needle time of 90 mins. Candidates Must Must Must have Cardio thoracic experience.

Description:

Surgical ICU at this specialist hospital cares for adults, with a full range of conditions or needing major surgery.
This ICU RN will be caring for patients with case such as Cardio thoracic, Neurological Cath Lab, and surgical as well as Poly trauma level1, and abdominal surgery
HCU and over flow cares for Orthopedics patients and enhanced recovery patients
Working 12 shifts with every alternate weekend off
RN’s will be responsible for doing shift leading down to basic nursing duties.
This is specialist ICU has an active Stroke program with door to needle time of 60 mins.

Applicants for this position must:

Be Registered with SANC as a Registered nurse
Have a Post Basic Diploma in ICU and or have 4/5 ICU experience
Be Ventilated competent
Be Competent in all Cardiac Monitoring and Titration of inotropes and vasoactive medications
Having experience in Coronary care with Cath Lab experience would be an advantage
Have clean contactable references
Have a 4/5 year life span in previous job roles
