Skilled-Senior Position

A new division at a leading banking sector seeks a System Analyst to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity

Purpose & Responsibilities:
• System design and analysis to existing or new systems and databases.
• Researches problems, plans solutions, recommends software and systems and coordinates development to meet needs of business/other requirements.
• Resource and quality management of Systems Analysts.
• Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
• Assist with the identification of Risks and Issues within the project(s) and mitigation strategies.
• Assist with problem analysis and resolution.
• Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions.

Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma and the required Certification.

Experience:
• 7 to 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Use Cases and UML.
• The system or application being developed.
• All elements that make up the IT infrastructure.
• Development and Production Incident Management.
• Experiences in the software development lifecycle to coach, guide, and support other team members (specifically Discipline Agile Delivery).
• Scope Change Management.
