Job Description:

* Report on test results to relevant parties
* Maintain and manage relationships with Clients, Team Leaders and Suppliers
* Full responsibility and accountability for projects
* Project engineering and management
* Responsible for handling documentation and reporting for the entire project
* Plan and manage the internal and external Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning aspects of the entire project
* Assist with designing and review of design drawings for the specific project
* Produce SCADA signal lists, IP Address lists etc. for the project and submit for approval
* Configuration and Engineering of all equipment relating to SCADA, telecommunications, Automation and Control equipment (Gateways, HMI, protection IED's, networking equipment etc.)
* Ensure that the system is fully functional according to Engineering standards and client specifications
* Provide training and support to client and staff
* Assist in customer visits, tender submissions and proposals
* Cost management for projects

Minimum Requirements:

* National Diploma - Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) with minimum of 3-5 years experience of substations (heavy electrical environment - min 11 KV is essential / electrical reticulation) or B. Degree - Electrical Engineering and minimum 1-2 years experience in substations
* Project management experience advantageous
* Must be a South African citizen
* Preference will be given to EE candidates
* Computer literate on MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project, SharePoint and MS Visio)
* Strong planning, organising and administration skills
* Good people and communication skills and an ability to interact with internal and external parties
* Must be able to work under pressure
* Willing to travel and work extended hours (when required)
