Multi-brand restaurant franchisor in Cape Town is looking for an experienced 'EE' Systems Engineer.

You will be required to design, build, deploy and maintain core infrastructure components in a Microsoft based infrastructure.

You will also be required to provide 3rd line support to support engineers who deal with the incidents and service requests of 300 users across 5 sites in Cape Town, Johannesburg & Durban.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Design, build, deploy and maintain an implementation of System Centre Configuration Manager across 5 sites with the following enabled:
- Software Deployments
- Patch Management
- Hardware & Software Inventory
- Operating System deployment
- Endpoint Protection
*Provide guidance to the desktop team to automate and package applications for deployment of SCCM
*Design, build, deploy and maintain an implementation of Systems Centre Operations Manager to provide monitoring and alerting on Windows
Server based infrastructure as well as switches, routers and other devices
*Deploy Intune to manage corporate owned devices
*Design and deploy an Active Directory Certificate Services & NPS infrastructure
*Deploy workloads into Azure
*Configure and deploy Office 365 services
*Maintain Active Directory servers, Hyper-V clusters and SQL clusters
*Work with Systems Administrators to maintain servers, switches, storage, telephony solutions and other core infrastructure components
*Responsible for documenting designs, technical configuration, processes and procedures as well as maintaining existing documents
*Provide suggestions to continuously improve processes, procedures or technical implementation of various infrastructure
*Co-ordinate and facilitate the implementation of technical projects from time to time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Minimum 10 years as a server support engineer
*Minimum 5 years in a design, build & deploy infrastructure role
*A+ or equivalent level qualification
*Experience in designing, deploying and maintain the following technologies:
- Active Directory Domain Services
- System Centre (SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM & Orchestrator
- Azure, Office 365 and Intune
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Hyper-V Clustering
- SQL Server Clustering
*Experience with the following technologies would be advantageous:
- Exchange Server
- Active Directory Certificate Services
- NPS
- Skype for Business / Lync
- MDOP
- Dell Server & Desktop Hardware
- FIM
- App-V
- Windows NLB
- Active Directory Federation Services
- Remote Desktop Services
