The Feel Good Project (tfgP) is an innovative social enterprise project between NPO Learn to Earn and South African retail giant, TFG (The Foschini Group), and is aimed at equipping unemployed South Africans with practical skills and experience to secure a job and successful career in the Retail industry.

We require a skilled Talent Coordinator to support our Talent Department at The Feel Good Project Head Office in Khayelitsha.

Responsibilities will include: Administer the recruitment and selection of new Project-employed staff and Trainees; Administer the induction and on-boarding of new trainees to the Programme; Support the implementation of the learning and development curriculum for Project Trainees including training administration and assisting with material development; facilitation of sessions and assessment of Trainee portfolios; Administer training requirements of Project trainees and staff including tracking planned and completed training and maintaining training documentation; Administer the Trainee Internship process; Support the placement process of Project Trainees into viable employment opportunities; Provide support with Project marketing activities and opportunities where required; Maintain Trainee and Staff database and personnel files.

Requirements include: A proven track record in recruitment and selection, training and development and general HR administration processes; A relevant Human Resource Management/ Training Qualification plus at least 4 years of relevant experience (experience in the Retail industry would be advantageous); Advanced computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office Suite; Good information/ data management and report writing skills; Well-developed English communication skills (knowledge of isiXhosa would be beneficial); Knowledge of and experience working with SETAs; Previous experience working/ volunteering in under deserved contexts; The ability to work inter-culturally and within diverse cross-cultural contexts; Passionate about people development; People orientated; Coaching and mentoring worldview; Confidential; Strong communicator – written and verbal; Multi-tasker who enjoys juggling several activities and working under pressure; Innovative and creative; Persuasive relationship builder.
