Tariffing Specialist

Leading Import solution organisation requires a Tariffing specialist to quality check all bills of entry and tariff orders and invoices.

Are you passionate about logistics, very detailed oriented with 8 years Air and Sea freight experience? Use your Customs Act and Tariff headings experience in this key role.

Your responsibilities will include;
• Tariffing products
• Quality checking Import Bills of Entry (Both Air and Sea)
• Assisting clients with VDN applications and Tariff rulings
• Processing Refund Applications
• Attending to all Customs Stops and detains
• Liaising with clearing agents / customs / port health / state vet / border police

Essential for this role, is a deep understanding of clothing and textile tariffing and clear knowledge of provisional payments and liquidation processes. You will also need working knowledge of Import regulations and requirements.

Role requires Matric and completed relevant SDS / Customs Affairs courses.
