A global mining company is currently looking for a Tax and Compliance Specialist .This position will be accountable for Taxation, governance, risk and compliance for the “Client Finance Function.They will work closely with the Senior Manager, Finance, HOD’s and Finance Superintendents to ensure compliance with GLDs (Group Level Documents), Finance policies/Function Level Documents, Finance Standard Operating Procedures, and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements such as SOX Sarbanes Oxley). The role will be responsible for: Tax interpretation and guidance, Tax Accounting and submissions Tax Compliance, Finance Risk and Governance just to name a few.
