Manager : Tax and Reporting

We are urgently recruiting for a seasoned Tax Manager (Banking /Financial Services) with at least 6 years of professional tax experience in a similar position.
You will be immediately available and be responsible for comprehensive tax accounting function and monitor the level of tax provision and ensuring the correct tax related disclosure.

You will also
• consolidate detailed explanation on tax rate reconciliations for purposes of monthly, interim and year-end reporting
• Review level of tax provisioning for budget and revised estimates
• Assist in preparing all Group Tax disclosure in annual report, analyst booklet and internal detailed analysis of Financial Results

In order to be considered the following is required:
• CA (SA) Qualification (non negotiable)
• Higher Diploma Tax Law, M Com Tax or equivalent recommended
• Preferably 5- 6 years tax specific experience
• Have internal audit exposure and report writing experience
• A general accounting background with experience in accounting principles and procedures preferred.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
