Registered Tax Practitioner or potential to register

Skills & Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

High attention to detail

Team player with the ability to work independently

Excellent verbal and written communication skills- ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Analytical skills must be able to compile and analyse reports

Able to meet deadlines and be innovative in a highly pressurized environment

Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)

Administration skills knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

ProfTax experience an advantage

E-Filing experience

Must understand the rules of SARS



Job Description:

Tax Clearance certificates

Liaising with SARS for various queries

Supervising/training of staff

Drafting letters to SARS and attach information where necessary

Tax returns

Tax Assessment administration

Assessment letters

General daily Tax duties

Lodge objections on e-filing and attach supporting documentation

Deal with SARS queries and letters, by post, email and phone

Copy, scan, upload and submit supporting documents as requested by SARS

Review and submit IT14SD returns

VAT monthly submissions and payments

PAYE monthly submissions and payments

EMP501 reconciliation reviews and submissions

Monthly Billings

Management of Work in Progress
