A leading international Audit, Tax and Advisory services firm based in the Tygervalley area is currently recruiting a Tax Compliance Officer. They are seeking a well organised, deadline-driven person to join their Corporate Tax division.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Completing individual income tax returns on e-Filing
- Checking and processing of income tax assessments
- Completion of company and trust income tax returns
- Preparation of provisional tax returns and applicable letters in Taxware and e-Filing
- Tax clearance applications in respect of Good Standing, Tenders and Foreign Investments
- Completion and submission of income tax, PAYE and VAT registrations for individuals, companies and trusts along with documents to support applications.
- Attendance to queries which need resolving at/with SARS
- Facilitation of payments to SARS via e-Filing
- Completion and submission of dividend withholding tax returns on e-Filing
- Resolution of income tax, VAT and PAYE queries and disputes with SARS on behalf of clients
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- At least 1-3 years relevant tax compliance experience
- Tax or other relevant BCom qualification
