POSITION: TAX Consultant

Location: Boksburg
Salary: R7 500 - R9 500

Qualifications/MUST have:
Bcom / National Diploma
Good communication skills
• Sharp
• Well spoken

Experience:
At least one year in dealing with SARS

Duties
• Responding to all client enquiries through email and telephonically
• New tax registrations for income tax, VAT and PAYE registrations
• Filing all tax related correspondence received from SARS and delivered to SARS
• Ensuring all filing is maintained and kept up to date in relation to each client’s file
• Submitting client tax and VAT returns
• Capturing submitted tax returns on Monthly reporting spreadsheet
• Downloading, printing tax assessments and all other correspondence received from SARS via Efiling
• Adherence to the profession’s confidentiality requirements
• Adherence to the Firm’s ethics and independence policies
• Daily recording of time on WIP
• Application for tax clearance certificate
• Application tax directives
• Application for Income tax registration for Individual, companies and trusts
• Call SARS to request statements i.e. VAT, PAYE and to attend to Queries
