Market related to a small - medium sized auditing firm
Our client a medium sized Auditing firm in Bedfordview is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team.

Minimum requirements:

Must have completed Bcom degree and a completed Higher Diploma in Taxation
Must have completed SAICA articles
Must be a registered Tax Practitioner
3 to 5 years’ experience in similar role and at an Audit firm
Must have Accounting experience
Computer literate in:

Microsoft Office programs
Caseware Time
Taxware
EasyFile software
SARS e-Filing
VIP Payroll
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions (from most important to least):

Drafting tax opinions;
Completion and submission of income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts;
Drafting and lodging of objections for income tax, VAT and PAYE;
Completion of IT14SD (supplementary declarations);
Completion and submission of VAT201 and EMP201 returns on e-filing;
Generate IRP5’s on Easyfile and completion and submission of EMP501 reconciliations;
Tax registrations for income tax, VAT and PAYE;
E-filing of returns for all tax types;
Completion and submission of Dividends withholdings tax returns;
Foreign Tax Clearance Certificate applications.
