We are currently urgently seeking 2 x Dev Team Leads for our Pta Branch


Development Team Lead:

In essence this position is a combination of line manager to a dev team of 9 people (a mix of Testing, BA and Dev positions) and a Product owner/manager

- In the market someone with experience as an SDM (Software development manager) might also work for this role..

Purpose of job:
To lead software development team and coordinate the entire product development process to
ensure the timely delivery of products

Previous line management experience in a similar role (at least 3 years as Dev team lead or similar):

• Coaching Others Fostering other peoples job related
Development
• High Involvement Leader Influencing others by creating a participative; empowered environment
• High Responsibility/Accountability Receiving primary responsibility/accountability for completing tasks that
might place heavy demands on ones time and involvement
• Influencing Others Using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals; gaining
acceptance of ideas or plans
• Task Variety Working on several different tasks or projects
• Stress Tolerance Dealing with multiple project deadlines
• Results Orientation
• Software Development Life Cycle understanding
• Understanding of Agile and waterfall development methodology
• In-depth understanding of software development and design principles.
• Understanding of Software Development Methodologies
• A Relevant Degree/Tertiary qualification is advantageous
• 5 years + experience of software development
• Leadership or project management experience

Please note – candidates who have only Technical lead and or Project manager experience will not work for this role..
