Job Description:
The Team Leader is responsible for a team whose job is to complete daily assigned tasks in a safe working manner. Should act as the coordinator and ensure that the SHE policy of the mine and the company are adhered to.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the availability of materials required for underground tasks.
• Managing and controlling the material.
• Identifying and eliminating risks/hazards and declaring the work area as safe.
• Enforcing safe working conditions.
• Leading daily toolbox and housekeeping meetings.
• Ensuring team performance and completion of daily assigned tasks.
• Reporting on progress or resources/capacity needed to the General Miner.

Minimum Requirements:
• 5 years’ underground experience.
• Competent A and B MQA Certificates.
• First Aid Certificate.
