We’re a fast growing Financial Services company and we are looking for a Team Manager to join our Cape Town team. This is a very exciting role and the successful candidate will be faced with new challenges every day. He / she will be responsible in assisting with the smooth running of the Debt Review and Administration department.

Key Performance Areas
Under the management / direction of the Operations Manager, the Debt Review and Administration Team Manager following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Manage and Coach Debt Review & Admin Team.
• Ensure Debt Review Team and Department achieve set targets.
• Ensure compliance to Department and Debt Review & Admin processes.
• Manage Debt Review and Administration order matters on behalf of the company
• Manage liaison with the Debt Counsellors and Administrators to obtain all the documentation pertaining to the Debt Review or Administration Order process.
• Manage follow up with customers to obtain the Debt Counsellor or Administrator contact details if no details are available on Excalibur.
• Deal with escalations or issues as they arise from Debt Counsellors
• Monitor and ensure that the payments are made according to the Court orders and /or proposals and allocated timeously.
• Attend to ad hoc requests regarding to the Debt Review Team/Department including reports.
• Coach and mentor for direct reports for improved performance


Skills/Knowledge/Attributes
• Matric (Grade 12)
• A min of 3 years recent working experience in the position of a Debt Review and Admin Order Consultant – previous exposure/experience in/to a Team Leader/management function in an Debt Review environment would be an advantage
• Credit and Criminal clear.

Requirements
• Computer Literate – minimum of intermediate level on Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows Explore and a strong/advanced understanding of Excalibur operations.

Working Hours
Monday – Fridays: You will be required to work an 8.25 hour shift per day scheduled between 07:00 and 15:45
Saturdays: You will be required to work a maximum of 2 Saturdays per month, a 6 hour shift on each Saturday between 08:00 and 14:00
