JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the job.

• Represent Fleet Africa at internal and external customers and suppliers regarding technical (mechanical) issues and support.

Key performance areas (KPA).

• Maintenance cost control
• Technical support to customers – re: Fleet Africa fleet
• Maintaining supplier management
• Application and specification assessment

Key performance indicator (KPI)

• Successful abuse recoveries
• Successful warranty claims
• Cost savings on major repair assessments
• Fleet downtime Management
• Documented vehicle specifications
• Maintenance Supplier surveys
• Fleet audits
• Tyre surveys
• Negative fund recommendations

JOB SPECIFICATION (actual job requirements)

Qualification Requirements.

• Minimum N3 (Theory)
• Qualified petrol and diesel technical (Practical)

Experience Required.

• Workshop costing experience
• Customer service/interface
• Excel and Word proficiency
• Vehicle appreciation/Fleet experience
• Two years workshop foreman/service advisor

What skills / job content competencies [technical competence] and knowledge, is necessary.
