To undertake the methodical investigation, analysis and review of business and technical functions and processes for applications, information systems and solutions.

Identify, define and document technology, data and supporting process requirements to improve any aspect of the processes and systems as well as the quantification of the potential benefits.
Key Accountabilities;
To support technology projects and facilitate interactions with identified technology partners.
• Actively participate in information system initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct analysis of technical issues and challenges faced during project execution, including root cause analysis
• Act as liaison and participate in defining technology solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications
• Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow.
• Facilitate group technical meetings such as Workshops
• Translate business requirements into appropriate technical and/or system requirements.
Expertise:
• Excellent understanding of technology life cycles and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
• Able understand and analyse business-, systems- and technical processes and requirements, with varying levels of complexity, throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Ability to identify potential opportunities within and outside own areas of specialization, and apply appropriate technology related expertise as necessary.
• Demonstrates a strong awareness of industry best practises
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to solve problems in a highly technical environment
• Understand various technology and infrastructure architecture domains and translating detail implementation requirements.
• Providing insights and recommendations from analysing datasets, including associated financial and/or processing or system related costs.
• Ability to identify and apply appropriate analytical techniques
Education:
Relevant Degree/diploma
Minimum of five years experience in Business-, Technical- or Systems Analysis, preferably within the financial services sector.
