Technical Assistant: Quality Control

The water and juice plant at Babylonstoren has an opportunity for a technical assistant who can help with quality control and analyses.

Minimum requirements
• Qualification in Food Science or Food Technology
• At least two years’ experience in food production and processing
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential

Key functions
• Routine analysis of water and juice in the laboratory
• Management and maintenance of food safety and quality system; data management
• Drawing up and managing control documents, including implementation and improvement
• Support and building of a culture of food safety and quality
