We are looking for Technical Engineers in the following areas/ locations:

Gauteng -Johannesburg – Southern/ Northern
Kwa-Zulu Natal -Northern, Southern, Central and Surrounding Areas
Eastern Cape – East London, Port Elizabeth – George and Surrounding Areas

Job Brief:
Technical Engineers to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers to ensure that their parking management system is operational.
Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions and implement
Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
Carry out on-site installation, maintenance and repair equipment such as lane stations, barriers and paystations.
Ensure day-today system performs smoothly
Perform routine maintenance
Provide customer/operator support
Operate machinery in a safe manner (including vehicles).
Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate solutions
Ensure all issues are properly logged
Prioritize and manage a number of open issues at one time
Follow up with clients
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Document technical knowledge
Maintain jovial relationships with clients

Key Requirements:

Service and customer satisfaction driven.
Knowledge of all parking equipment
Compiling/completing necessary documentation
Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
Hands-on experience with software/ hardware issues
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Client liaison abilities.
Time management, decision making abilities
Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, deadline orientated,
Attention to detail, accuracy and conciseness.
Relevant Microsoft A+ / N+ qualification or similar
