Exciting opportunity with great company based in Centurion, looking for a Technical Lead to help grow and guide team of developers.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading a development team.
• The objective of the Tech Lead is to contribute to completing a project successful.
• Provide solutions to technical challenges facing the development of products or solutions.
• They focus on ensuring the finished product meets the design and technical specifications of their clients.
• Blend of superb problem-solving and innovation skills to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.
• Help develop sound project schedules.
• If the project requires licenses and permits to proceed, the technical lead helps gather the necessary technical documentation.
• Works in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Business Leads.
• Motivate, mentor and train project staff, report issues that might affect product delivery, such as increase in project costs to project managers.
• Define and coordinate the technical tasks for the development of the software and/or interfaces
• Assist in budget for internal hardware/software
• Has strong technical skills and often develops the architecturally significant components of the software system and/or interfaces

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degrees (on or more off):
o BSc. Computer Science
o BEng. Industrial & Systems Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
o B.Com Informatics with honours in computer science or informatics
• Relevant Certifications a plus
• 10+ years’ relevant work experience in a software solutions/professional services environment
• Be familiar with SDLC methodologies like Agile, KANBAN, etc.
