TECHNICAL MANAGER (BUILDINGS/CONSTRUCTION)

DUTIES:
• Building maintenance management
• Arrange contractors for relevant scope of work
• Scope work for tenant installations
• Site visits
• Compare quotes from contractors
• Follow ups
• Inspect quality assurance and quality control
• Budget management
• Problem identification and problem solving (aesthetical, electrical, structural, mechanical hydraulic etc)
REQUIREMENTS
• Mechanical / Structural Engineering / Architect Qualification
• Solid technical background
• At least 5 years experience in a seminal role
• Good understanding of architects drawings
• Coordination of people and resources
• Good mathematics knowledge (Arithmetic/Geometry)
• Must have good communication skills and understand technical teams
• Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English
• Basic drawing packages and computer literate
• Project planning experience
• Must be able to do estimates on work to be done
• SA Citizen
