Our Client in Paarl is looking for a Technical Manager.

• Languages: English and Spanish are indispensable
• Academical background: at least technical engineering but preferably superior engineering
• Minimun 5 years’ experience in citrus/ table grape / stone fruit / baby fig farms
• Candidate must be willing to live in the Republic of South Africa, at least for 3 years

DUTIES:
• Citrus, Table Grape, Stone Fruit & Baby Fig plantation management
• Product development management
• Pumping, irrigation and fertigation systems management
• Responsible for nurseries supervision
• Plague control and phytosanitary systems management
• Main responsible for electrical equipment
• Plan production periods and conduct required forecasting of production and resource requirements;
• Ensure the implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance programmes
• Provide timeous and relevant reporting as required
• Collaborate and liaise with other departments and business units of the organisation to optimise the farm’s production.
