The Technical Manager will be responsible for the efficient running of the technical department of the KZN region.

Duties:

? Order and maintain stock spare part level for all capital equipment
? Order and maintain stock level for all service kits for capital equipment
? Monitor Odyssey, the Service Manager CRM, and ensure that it is updated by all technicians in KZN
? Provide technical support to assist field technicians
? Ensure that all KZN technical staff have access to One Drive with product Software, Operator and Service manuals
? Ensure One Drive is kept up to date with the product documentation sold in KZN region.
? Provide telephone support to field technicians
? Liaising with customers
? Implement SLAs for equipment
? Liaise with overseas agencies
? Monitor technical staff site visits and job completion
? Work closely with the Sales department
? Procurement of Local IT infrastructure for customer installations
? Ensure smooth running of the technical department including administration
? Manage all KZN technical staff
? Plan, direct and administer operations

Required Skills:

? Minimum qualification: National Diploma Clinical / Electrical Engineering / Managerial Qualifications
? At least five (5) years’ experience in Field service support
? At least two (2) years’ experience in Technical Management
? Good Technical ability
? Good computer literacy
? Skill in planning, directing and administering operations
? Ability to prepare and analyze comprehensive reports
? Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion
? Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
? Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
? High level of accuracy
