Well reputed national company with more than 80 years of reputed experience in the pumps industry, is seeking to employ a technical sales representative:

Package on Offer
R12K basic per month
Car Allowance
Petrol Card
Cell Allowance
M/Aid
Pension
Quarterly Commission

Minimum requirements:
Matric
Own Car
Previous experience in a technical sales environment
Ability to generate new business and achieve targets
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Afrikaans

Successful candidate will be required to:

Primary Duties
Build customer relations.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Produce the necessary reports as set out by the Sales Manager.
Need to reach monthly Sales Budgets and Targets as set out from month to month.
Call on customers as per call route and set out by the Sales Manager

Secondary Duties
Be proactive in trying to prevent theft or to report any wrong doings by other staff members.
Must be prepared to work on the sales counter if required
Must be prepared to work overtime as per the operational requirements of the company.
Must adhere to the health and safety requirements of the company.
Assist walk in clients
External sales and identify new business opportunities
Visiting new and existing clients to secure sales / business
Generate monthly reports on sales activities / client visit for management
Generate monthly reports on sales achieved for management
Achieving quarterly targets to qualify for commission
Placing of new orders
Reconciling of cash and cheque payments

The person must be a team player who is prepared to assist other employees when they are on leave or sick.
The person must have a strong character and be able to stand up for their point of view.
Must be able to interact with employees who are demanding.
Be a proactive thinker, good planner,.
Must be able to work in an Industrial Area.
