A leading global technical manufacturing company is looking to employ a Customer Support Representative (Technical Sales Rep) to join their dynamic team to be based in Middelburg

Minimum Requirements

? Matric
? Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing an advantage
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar environment (Heavy equipment manufacturing)
? Must have product and market knowledge of diesel engines or welding equipment
? Financial understanding of Sales Margins and Profitability
? Networking skills and ability to work under pressure

Main duties and responsibilities:

? Provide customer support and sales to the existing and potential customer base in the region
? Achieve sales and margin targets as agreed to with management
? Provide punctual and accurate reporting with regards to budgeting, forecasting, branch and visitation
? Ensure that stock for the branch is accurately managed and maintained
? Present new products and services to existing and potential customers
? Ensure that customers are always well informed
? Apply pricing structures that are in line with sales and margin objectives
? Investigate and present new avenues of revenue
? Organize and facilitate any potential demonstrations and / or training sessions as required by the customers
? Support financial management by assisting in recovering outstanding debtors that they are responsible for
? Communicate with management with regards to competitive pricing discounts
