Our client a manufacturer and distributor in pumps within the food and wine Industry is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their growing team.

Job Specification;

Technical experience in Industrial Pumps

Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery

Generate and qualify leads

Source and develop client referrals

Prepare sales action plans and strategies

Develop and maintain a customer database

Make sales calls to new and existing clients

Prepare and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients

Negotiate and present professional sales proposals to clients

Conduct product training

Performquality checks on product and service delivery

Conduct market research and surveys

Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Managing relationships with key accounts

Mentoring junior sales reps

Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends

Full technical knowledge of all products

Minimum Requirements;

Matric / Grade 12

Engineering background would be hugely beneficial

Knowledge of relevant computer applications (MS Outlook, Word & Excel)

5-10 years technical sales experience

Knowledge of basic business principles

Proven ability to achieve sales targets

Experience in industrial pumps

Planning and strategizing

Bilingual in both verbal and written communication of English and Afrikaans

Negotiation skills

Resilience and tenacity

Self-motivated and goal driven
