Technical Sales Representative (Nelspruit)

Aqualytic is a major role player in the distribution and training of analytical equipment, test kits and reagents in the water, wastewater, effluent, agricultural and environmental monitoring sectors. Our core products include HACH; which are widely distributed throughout the Mpumalanga area. The successful candidate will be a member of a fast growing and dynamic team and will be responsible for pro-actively drive market sales while providing technical support and training to customers simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience:
• A National Diploma or B.Sc. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, microbiology and related fields will be preferred.
• 1-2 years’ laboratory experience is essential
• 3-4 years of related sales experience

Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience in water and wastewater treatment process
• Past sales experience and proof of previous sales track record(s),
• A customer focused approach with proof of a solid customer relations management history and the capability growing of the customer base.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Drivers licence with own vehicle is essential.
• Good communication and liaison skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities
• Keep up to date with industry and product knowledge
• Implementation of sales strategies to drive position and increase market share
• Acquire new customers
• Develop key relationships with new and existing customers
• Work closely with customers providing training, back up support and innovative solutions
• Meet assigned sales targets
