RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably experienced TECHNICAL SALESMAN (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) for a well-established national company – position based in Pinetown.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Afrikaans / English speaking person.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Person must have previous external sales experience / work experience in the manufacturing industry (this would only suit a confident person who enjoys visiting clients and the sales / marketing industry).
Previous experience / knowledge of the fire prevention sector would be an advantage.
The primary role for this position is to alleviate the administration load on the Key Accounts Manager.
Preparation of quotations / proposals.
Project information form and order submissions.
Project handover meetings.
Weekly planning.
Daily reporting.
Monthly pipe line report.
Attend department meetings.
Attend all training courses.
Interact with management.
Investigate continual improvement projects.
Assist with tender preparation.
