The incumbent must:
? Take responsibility for all the technical support on the companies offer in KZN
? Create direct contact with Consultants and other Specifiers to get the organisation specified and keep the project loops closed with Panel Builders.
? Be the Technical and Commercial expert for the company, offer and ensure all sales and technical
• Support staff are up-skilled on a regular basis:
Ensure the training support staff are adequately equipped to deliver technically sound training
• Ensure internal technical support staff are adequately equipped to deal with customer queries in this regard as the first level of support
• Ensure Internal Sales Staff are adequately equipped to deal with customer requests and queries in this regard
• Ensure External sales staff are trained to deal with application and industry specific know-how to create a deeper knowledge and skills base , beyond only product knowledge
• Be the custodian for project related and value added offers to be made

? This position requires, from time to time, to be directly involved with site interventions and to solve customer issues on site and after hours
? With the respective sales people, devise, deploy and monitor tactics for the increase in success of project activities with the elected partners
? Maintain an infrastructure of the documentation and collateral from the principle suppliers and head office and ensure effective deployment of the material to the right channels
? Maintain a database of the competitor’s landscape with regards to price levels and offers, to constantly position the company offers correctly on the different markets
? Provide monthly feedback to management and respective sales staff a summary of the actions and effects
? Participate in channel activities with the respective sales engineers and sales managers to seek volume growth opportunities.
The incumbent will not have any direct sales target with an account but will be monitored on the project activities of the area

Minimum Requirements
o Technical qualification mandatory
o Previous experience in the Power and Control and Distribution landscape mandatory
o Sales and Sales management experience advantageous
o Previous product management experience
